Code Of Conduct
- Do not fail to furnish a signed-note of explanation in the diary in case of late coming or leave.
- Change of address/ phone no. must be informed to the office through application signed by parents.
- No school business is transacted on Public Holidays.
- Parent-teacher meeting will be announced as per the schedule.
- Students are not permitted to attend part-time class or go before the scheduled school-time.
- Only on medical ground student is not able to attend an exam/test, so parents/guardians are required to give prior information supported by a medical certificate of a registered practitioner in the office.
- In such cases, there is no provision to Re-exam/test or postpone the scheduled exam/test. Promotion depends on the performance of the student of the entire academic session.
- Tuitions/attending coaching classes are strongly discouraged. Parents who seek admission in this school and look out for tutors are taking a risk, as they will depend on the sincerity of the tutors. Parents kindly give personal attention to your child.
- In spite of all help given, if a child fails to show any progress, the same may be discuss with the Principal and the class/ subject teacher. Principal may permit extra class by the members of the staff.
- Student using unfair means during test/exam will get zero and repetition will result in dismissal from the school.
ATTENDANCE, ABSENCE, FINE AND RE-ADMISSION FEES
- A minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days is required for the examination and promotion to next class.
- A written application for leave must be submitted well in advance.
- The name of a student who is absent for 15 days without leave application shall be struck off. On re-admission, fee of Rs. 100/- with Rs. 1/- per day will be charged as "absence fine".
- In class IX and XI no readmission is possible, if attendance is less than 50%.
- A student whose name has been struck off for absence without leave application and who is habitually late or persistently careless and indisciplined may not be re-admitted to the school in any of the classes.
- Every student must be present on the reopening day in new session/after vacation. If students remain absent for continuous 5 days without any information then his/her name will be struck off.
- It is advisable to ensure that a student should not be disturbed during examination days and is not asked to attend social functions.
- No student can leave the school premises during school hours without the written permission of the Principal, which may be granted under exceptional circumstances, based on the written request of parents.
- The Principal has the right to suspend the student without prior warning for disobedience/ whose behaviour is detrimental to the healthy atmosphere of the school.
- The Principal may also ask Parent/guardians to withdraw their child from the school if his/her conduct or educational progress is not satisfactory.
- All entries of absence, late - coming or half - day leave should be written or mentioned in the school diary and not on the sheets of paper.
PARENTAL CO-OPERATION
- Parents are requested to drop their ward not before 15 minutes of the school timing, also collect on given scheduled time.
- Guardians are requested to check the diaries of their child regularly.
- Criticism of a teacher or the school, in the presence of the student should be avoided. This may cause the student to lose respect for her/his teacher and the school.
- Parents are expected to participate regularly in school meeting or functions especially when they are invited.
- Our school teachers do not give private tuition. Therefore, do not approach them to teach your wards privately.
- Parents / Guardians / Visitors are not allowed to enter the class and meet the students and interview their teachers during school hours. In case of an urgent need for meeting, the students or teachers, the Principal is to be approached.
- (a) Parents are requested to send their ward in school time.
- Presence of every child in the assembly is compulsory.
- The child who fails to reach the school in time and does not attend the assembly, may be sent back by informing their parents.
- Parents should not take the child out of Lucknow during school days without the prior permission of the principal.
- No sick child may be sent to school with medicines except in case of emergency medicine like inhalers for asthma.
- The child must come in neat, clean and full uniform.
Simplicity is the trademark of GENIUS.
- No ornaments are permitted except small ear rings for girls.
- Wrist watch is restricted upto class V students.
- Please ensure and encourage your child to take part in all the activities of the school.
- Parents should in no way dictate to the management, which has the right to say on what condition they admit or detain pupil in the school.
PROGRESS REPORT
Parents are requested to collect the progress report of their ward regularly on the date announced by the school after every examination. Duplicate report card will be issued against payment of Rs. 20/- only after written application.
- No pupil will be allowed to offer any subject which is not regularly taught in the school or provided in the approved scheme of studies.
- Absence from a subject excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of merit in the examination.
- Students of class IX, X, XI and XII may be withdrawn from the Board Examination on the grounds of unsatisfactory conduct, academic performance and attendance less than 75%.
- Minimum passing percentage is 40% in all the subjects.
- Promotions are granted according to the rules prescribed by the council.
- Refused promotions are not reconsidered. Promotions are not granted before the final exam.
- The evaluation of answer-scripts and other work done by students during an examination lies within the jurisdiction of the school. In case of doubts for grade awarded to the child may be re-checked by a teacher appointed by the Principal only on the written application from parents.
- Answer copies of half yearly examination will be shown to parents on the scheduled date. Answer copies are retained in the school only for a month after publishing the final result.
- Student absent for an examination for any reason will not be re-examined.
- Report card will be withheld for nonpayment of school dues.
WITHDRAWALS
- Every application for a Transfer Certificate shall be made in written by the parent or guardian on a prescribed form.
- No Transfer Certificate will be issued for fee defaulters.
- A fee of Rs. 300/- and (Rs. 350/- for counter signature) is charged for a Transfer Certificate and will be issued only after one week of receiving an application.
- One month written notice is required before a pupil can be withdrawn. No notice is accepted during the school vacations. If a student is withdrawn at any time later than 2 months after the commencement of a Term, full fees for the rest of the terms (total 12 months) will be charged.
LIBRARY RULES
- Books will be issued and returned as per rules framed by the school.
- Books will be issued for a definite period of time.
- Only one book can be issued at a time.
- Late fine Rs. 1/- per book will be charged daily until the book is returned.
- The student should point out any damage done to the books prior to getting them issued in his/her name; otherwise he/she will be charged for the damage.
- Tearing, writing, scribbling or folding of pages in the books will be considered as damage.
- Students losing books or damaging them will be asked to pay the cost of the books.
- All the library books issued to the students must be returned before the commencement of each examinations.
LABORATORIES
The school has well- equipped laboratories to facilitate experimental work in science. The following rules are to be observed in the laboratories:
- Equipment for use in the laboratories will be issued to the students as per rules laid down by each campus.
- No equipment is to be taken out of the laboratory.
- Any damage to the equipment during practical done by the student/group students may impose fine.
- Any item issued from the laboratories must be returned after the period.
- Without teacher's permission students will not use the computer in computer lab.
DISPLINARY ACTION
- The School Authorities may exercise their right of not re- admitting the pupils who fail to return within three days after the two long vacations.
- For disobedience to the clearly expressed order of the Principal, the punishment laid down is dismissal without any previous warning.
- Irregular attendance, unsatisfactory conduct, habitual lack of interest and prolonged or intermittent illness or action detrimental to the discipline and the moral tone of the school, repeated failure in tests or examinations and in subordination are sufficient reasons singly or together to expel a student without any notice or warning.
- Any damage to the school properties may impose penalty/any other displinary action.
- Any wilful breach of the regulation for the peaceful conduct of examinations is punishable by expulsion from the whole examination.
