About Us

 St. Thomas, one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, came to India in 52 AD and established the Christian community in this glorious world. The Church established by him on the Indian soil strives to preserve the unbroken continuity of Christian faith, high ethical values and noble traditions without compromising its essential Indian culture and content. The Church has evolved as a dynamic and thriving body with a wide range of social activities based on love and service. With its unique contributions the Orthodox Church has left an imprint in the fields of education and medical care. .

 St. Thomas Mission High School, named after the Apostle, run by Mar. Gregorios Orthodox Syrian Church Society of Delhi Diocese is an integral part of the Indian Orthodox Church.

St. Thomas Mission School (Code No. UP-264) is a Christian minority School under the management of The Delhi Diocesan Council (Regd) of the Indian Orthodox Church. The school is recognized by the Directorate of Education, UP Government, and affiliated to the "COUNCIL FOR THE INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE" EXAMINATIONS (X and XII).

Our Mission is to serve the needy and give best education to    the middle class society irrespective of  cast,  creed  and  religion. It is based on the  principles  of  character  formation and our objectives is to promote the total development of the person so as to be fully human, fully Indian and truly modern.

St. Thomas Mission School aims at making its own contribution towards a radical transformation of present day social conditions, so that the principles of social justices, equality of opportunity, genuine freedom and respect for religious and moral values enshrined in the constitution of India may prevail and the possibility of living a fully human existence may open for all.
